DIDYABRINGYAMATEALONG

Shoot report November 16th- Bring a mate day.

If you were lucky enough to bring a mate on Sunday, I think in the morning at least you were probably testing the friendship a little. Miraculously, when we arrived to do the pre shoot prep, Middling Bank seemed to be the only place in the state that had a patch of blue sky parked over it. Of course this didn’t last and on cue at 9.45 am the skies opened and down came the rain. However after a short delay there was another break in the weather and we started out on what turned out to be a pretty reasonable day by another mid-morning shower.

The layouts were spread over A and B ranges and thanks goes to Ed, Peter and Mick for setting up on Saturday. Thanks also to Adam and Jack for mowing around the club house and stands allowing for “dryer” access for the day.

Given the conditions we had a good turnout 32 shooters. We also had 11 targets only shooters which one would like to think are potential new members. Thanks again to the Bermagui attendees who despite the ominous weather forecast made the effort to drive up the hill.

The high gun winner was Michelle Craig from Bermagui with a handicap adjusted score of 111.

Other prize winners were:

 A Grade    1st  Bill Warriner 110, 2nd Kris Jones 102, 3rd Glen Simmons 101

B Grade    1st Ken Jones 103, 2nd Bob Craig 103, 3rd Robin Perkins 98

C Grade    1st James White 102 2nd Sean Newlin 101 3rd Steve Blyth 100

Juniors      1st Jack Fairfield-Smith 42, 2nd Alissa Hiese 19

The next shoot will be the Xmas shoot on the 21st December. Looking forward to seeing you then.
