“Winter game 100”
. Sponsored by Bill and Marg Warriner.
If you were skiing it would be called a “Blue Bird Day” If you used this analogy at the
gun club there would be too much discussion about the terminology. “Can’t shoot blue
birds (targets), too hard to see against the blue sky” “Blue bird? That’s not a game bird”
And so on. I think we should stick with it was a really nice day at the Middling Bank
Range on Sunday.
Bill and Marg Warriner sponsored and hosted the “Winter Game 100” Bill set a good
range of varied targets and Marg supplied an exceptionally tasty Pheasant and corn soup.
31 one shooters attended from Cooma, Jindabyne, Bermagui and Malacoota and the
mood was good humored.
Corbett shot well after his overseas trip and took out High gun with an 82/100. Bill
Warriner 1st in A grade, Neville Brady 1st in B grade Adam mower 1st in C Grade.
