Sporting Clays in a nut shell

 Compak Shoot

The compak was a success over the week-end. A good turn out of shooters (45) embraced the discipline and had an enjoyable, but long day.

A lot was learnt and with a few modifications I feel that we can streamline the event and it will become a popular day on the calendar.

Some effort was put in to the theme "The tweed Cup" however given the weather it was hot surprising that most elected to wear something more seasonable.

Thanks to the usual parties setup crew, office crew, scorers and refs.

A special thanks to John Star who not only setup on Saturday, his birthday, but also attended on Sunday which happened to be his wedding anniversary. Fortunately he took out the day, with a well deserved High Gun.
